About wasabills.pk/
wasabills.pk/ exists for one small, annoying problem: every Pakistani city runs its water billing on a different portal, with a different name for the same number — and the paper bill arrives late anyway.
We keep the routes in one place. For each major city we document, from the authority’s own published material, which portal is official, exactly which number it asks for and how that number looks, how to pay the bill, and where to complain when it is wrong. The checker on this site validates the format of your number on your own device and then opens the official portal — your bill itself is always shown by the authority, never by us.
What we are not
We are not WASA, KWSC, WSSP, Q-WASA, CDA or any government body. We do not issue bills, take payments, or hold anyone’s billing data. If a page anywhere asks you to pay your water bill on a lookalike site, close it and pay only through your bank, wallet or the official portal.
What this site covers
The whole life of a water bill, for every major city. How to check the WASA bill online with a consumer number. How to download and print a duplicate bill, and how to pay through bank apps, mobile wallets, QR codes and counters. What to do when the bill is high or wrong, and how complaints and new connections work. Then the background questions people search for — supply timings, tanker booking, bill alerts by SMS and WASA jobs. Each city has its own page because each authority works a little differently, and the differences are exactly where people get stuck.
How we keep information honest
City details on this site come from the authorities’ own websites and published guides. Where an authority does not publish something — Quetta’s fees, for example — we say so instead of guessing a number. If you spot an error, write to us at [email protected] and we will fix it.
Our sources
The facts on this site come from two kinds of source, and figures on the city pages carry their source and date where they appear. First, the authorities themselves: the official websites and published material of WASA Lahore, WASA Rawalpindi, WASA Faisalabad, WASA Multan, WASA Gujranwala, WASA Hyderabad, the Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KWSC), WSSP Peshawar, Q-WASA Quetta and the CDA — their portals, helplines and notified charges are the ones this site links to and quotes. Second, established reporting for scale figures and recent changes: Dawn, Business Recorder, the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) and The Express Tribune, each named beside the figure it supports. Where sources conflict — Lahore’s published tariff figures do — we print none of them and point you to the authority’s own tariff page instead. And where an official notification contradicts anything here, the notification wins; tell us and we will correct the page.
